06 Days Saigon, tunnel, giant Jesus, mighty Mekong, Cao dai temple

Day 1: Arrival Ho Chi Minh City (Dinner included)

Our representative meet you at Tan Son Nhat airport and transfer to hotel for check-in. Dinner then free for shopping at Ben Thanh night market.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – CAO DAI TEMPLE - Cu Chi - Vung Tau (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive west to Tay Ninh, the centre of Caodaism. On arrival we attend the fantastic mid-day temple service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. On the way back, stop to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network of tunnels constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, accommodation, etc. and were used as a military base for the Vietcong during the American war. After the tunnel, transfer to Vung Tau, situated 125km southeast of Ho Chi Minh city. It is a famous beach resort with long white sandy beaches and warm water whole year round. Energized after your exciting day with a sumptuous dinner on local restaurant.

Day 3: Vung Tau - Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

After breakfast, visit to the Summer Palace of the Emperor Bao Dai, the Jesus Monument (St. Jacque Janerio), which overlooks the peninsula and the Pacific Ocean, Thuy Van beach and Whale Temple dedicated to whales considered as the rescuing gods for Vietnamese fisherman in the east sea. Lunch at local restaurant before return Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon, and visit to War Museum, China Town and Thien Hau Temple (The Pagoda of the Lady Thien Hau), lacquer ware factory and handicraft center. Energized after your exciting day with a sumptuous dinner on the Saigon River Cruise with entertainment show at the end of the day.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Ben Tre - Can Tho - Phong Dien (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for My tho. Take a leisurely boat ride through the Bao Dinh natural canal which is bordered by rows of traditional stilt houses and fruit plantations. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market. Proceed to Tortoise island. Lunch served in the heart of the orchard. Enjoy a boat ride through the Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadows of the water coconut trees. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle. After trekking through the fruit plantation on Thoi Son island, enjoy a rowing boat ride along the creeks before returning to My Tho by motor boat. Proceed to Can Tho. Dinner on guest's account. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Can Tho. (Family home stay can be arranged on request.)inner cruise on the Hau river. Overnight at your hotel in Can tho.

Day 5: Phong Dien Floating Market - Cai Rang Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

After breakfast, take the morning boat trip to visit the Phong Dien floating market and experience the sights, sounds and smells of this thriving traditional market. Keep cruising through the small channels system and visit a village where rice noodles are made. Experience the "Monkey bridge" in the Delta. Visit the second floating market of Cai Rang. Break for lunch. Return to Ho Chi Minh city. Stop to relax at the Bonsai garden in My Tho. Overnight in the hotel in Saigon.
