Day 01 Yangon-Sittwe-Mrauk U ( Dinner)
You will be picked up at your hotel to fly from Yangon-Sittwe. Arrival transfer to the jetty for the boat to Mrauk U. Take a local boat along the Kalandan river about 5~6 hours (depending on tidal direction) to reach Mrauk U, the royal capital of old Rakhine Kingdom.Arrival Mrauk U and transfer to the hotel and check-in. Dinner at local restaurant Overnight at Mrauk U.
Day 02 Mrauk U full day sightseeing ( Breakfast /Lunch / Dinner )
Breakfast at the hotel. Mrauk U, the royal capital of old Rakhine Kingdom, located at a strategic location at its time backed by Rakhine mountain ranges at the east, Bay of Bengal to the west and surrounded by four rivers. The old remains of its flourish time, around 16th century, are the most interesting sightseeing places like Koethaung Temple, Shitthaung Temple – (a temple with 80,000 Buddha images) constructed using stones and stones bracket without using any mortar; Htokekanthein – named because of its stone beam structure and situated on a small mount; Andaw Thein Temple – believed to be enshrined with the tooth-relic of Buddha originally received from Sri Lanka; Lay Myatnar Pagoda, Chin Kite Pitaka Library, Rakhine Museum and old Palace site. Continue to Yadanarpone Pagoda – the best place to see the architectural remains of Rakhine Kingdom; Bandoola monastery – where the Sanda Muni Buddha image existed; and sunset viewing from one of the top of mountains. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant Overnight at Mrauk U.
Day 03 Mrauk U - Sittwe (Boat) ( Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner )
Breakfast at the hotel. Take a local boat along the Kalandan river about 5~6 hours (depending on tidal direction) to reach back Sittwe. Arrival transfer to hotel and check-in.Sittwe, an old bustling port town situated on an island located at the confluence of Kaladan River, Laymyo River and Mayu River. Nowadays, the city is the capital and port of Rakhine state. Sightseeing highlights include the Buddhist Museum – one of the best place to learn Rakhine cultural and their devotes in Buddhism, U Ray Kyaw Thu Monastery, Pyilonchantha Image, Maha Kuthala Monastery and bustling market where the varieties of marine products available. Evening we will walk along the strand road and visit view point. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant .Overnight at Sittwe.
Day 04 Sittwe-Yangon by flight ( Breakfast )
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight back to Yangon. Upon arrival Yangon and transfer to the hotel.

The hotels mentioning above are the best suitable hotels for each category at each cities. In case of those hotels are not available, Dong Travel reserve the right to change to alternative hotels available with more or less the same quality and price. All the surcharges arising from such changes must be under client's own account.
