Stating from the charming town of Luang Prabang in the north, you travel all along Laos and explore the mysterious plain of jars, the charming riverside town of Vang Vieng before arriving in Vientiane. The fascinating combination of ancient cultures, river journeys, stunning scenery is exciting along the way. You continue exploring the rarely seen Khonglor Cave and enjoy a full day cruise around the picturesque and unspoiled 4,000 Islands in the south.

Day 1: ARRIVAL – LUANG PRABANG (Dinner included)
On arrival at Luang Prabang International airport, our guide will meet and transfer you to hotel for check-in.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city or simply relax.
Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 2: LUANG PRABANG – FULL DAY CITY TOUR (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
After breakfast at hotel, we have fill day city tour with visit to Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts. We enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. We also visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham.
Following lunch at local restaurant, we visit the Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn about Laos' many ethnic cultures before we head out of town to see the weaving villages of Ban Xiengkhong and Ban Xienglek. We return to the city for visit to Wat Mai. We climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as panoramic view of the city at sunset and the Mekong River. The tour ends after visit to the famous Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by local and hill-tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

Note: the Royal Palace Museum is closed on Tuesdays.
Day 3: LUANG PRABANG - XIENGKHUANG (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Breakfast at hotel, we make the days drive through wonderful natural scenery to Xiengkhuang. The journey will give you plenty of opportunities for photos and visiting hill-tribe villages. Upon arrival, we transfer out to visit Site 1 of the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site where hundreds of large stone jars are scattered all over the plateau.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Xiengkhuang.
Day 4: XIENG KHUANG – PLAIN OF JARS AND MUANG KHOUN (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
After breakfast at hotel, we have time to visit the interesting Central Market in Phonsavan, visit the MAG exhibition and Site 2 of the Plain of Jars before taking short scenic trek to Site 3 via Tai Dam and Lao Leum village.
Following lunch at local restaurant, we have half day morning tour seeing the old capital of Muang Khoun and nearby villages, home to the Hmong hill-tribe and Tai Dam people.
Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Xiengkhuang.
Day 5: XIENG KHUANG – SAM NEUA (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Early breakfast at hotel, so we have more time to get a long drive starting early this morning along some fairly rough roads, but the journey is broken up by stops at nearby villages, and admire the breathtaking scenery. We also have time to visit Hintang. Here we visit the mysterious menhirs (standing stones). No one is quite sure who built them or why, perhaps burial sites or markers of some sort. We arrive in Sam Neua early evening.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Sam Neua.
Day 6: SAM NEUA - VIENGXAI (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Early breakfast at hotel, we visit a number of local weaving villages, we continue onto the famous Vieng Xai Caves, where the Pathet Laotian leaders lived during the «Secret War». After enjoying numerous caves we head back to our Sam Neua accommodation for the night.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Sam Neua.
Day 7: SAM NEUA – NA MEO BORDER GATE TO VIETNAM (Breakfast included)
After breakfast at hotel, we drive to Na Meo (Border Gate to Vietnam). We and tour here.
