Day 1: Arrival Ho Chi Minh City (Dinner included)
Our representative meet you at Tan Son Nhat airport and transfer to hotel for check-in. Dinner then free for shopping at Ben Thanh night market.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
After breakfast, what is waiting in front of you to discover system over 200 km long tunnel (Cu Chi Tunnels), a haven for former guerrillas of Vietnam during the war against America. After sightseeing you return to the city for lunch and will have little feel for a short tour around the historic sites such as The Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame Cathedral), The Old Post Office and The People's Committee Hall, Reunification Palace... Energized after your exciting day with a sumptuous dinner on the Saigon River Cruise with entertainment show at the end of the day.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
After breakfast, a two hour drive to My Tho will expose the colorful outskirt life as well as picturesque rice fields along the journey.
Upon arrival, you will go along Mekong River with the natives on boat and stop at Thoi Son islet to taste seasonal fruits, enjoy traditional folk songs. Then, visit the authentic life of the local and challenge your bargaining power at cottage handicraft shops. An adventurous sampan ride in palm shading creeks will be the next experience of the riverside region. Lunch to be served with the Mekong Delta specialty - Deep Fried Elephant ear fish.
Far away Mekong River with poetic emotion to return reality with bustling life of Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon, and visit to China Town and Thien Hau Temple (The Pagoda of the Lady Thien Hau). Energized after your exciting day with a sumptuous dinner at local restaurant.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang – Hoi An (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Breakfast at hotel, morning flight to Da Nang then transfer to Hoi An (one of the major trading centers of South East Asia in the 16th century, now a World Cultural Heritage Site, well-known for its ancient and remarkable architecture of mixed Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese styles from the 16th century. Visit the 200 year-old Tan Ky house, Phuc Kien Pagoda, the former merchants’ houses, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful riverside market. Lunch at local restaurant, late afternoon, visit Cam Chau village to see local people make their traditional jewel-like-toned lanterns. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An – My Son Tour – Hoi An (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Transfer from Hoi An to My Son Holy land, once the spiritual capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years and occupied most of the central parts of Vietnam from 2nd century to 16th century with very rich in history and culture. Contemplate its remarkable red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries.
Drive back to Hoi An, visit the former merchants' homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien pagoda and the colourful riverside market. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Day free to cycle through rice paddies in the countryside of Hoi An ancient town, shop for souvenirs among the antique shops and art galleries, or just sit at sidewalk cafes and soak up the atmosphere of this quaint town. Or relax on the white sandy beach of the famous Da Nang Beach. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An – Hue Tour (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Leave Hoi An for Hue, the last imperial capital of Vietnam, well-known for magnific architecture, pagodas and royal tombs laid in small villages and surrounding hills. En route have a look at the famous Da Nang Beach and visit Cham Museum which contains the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world. Upon arrival in Hue, visit the Imperial Citadel, the Purple Forbidden City, the elaborate mausoleums of Emperors Tuc Duc and Khai Dinh. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue – Hanoi (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
A morning boat trip on the romantic Perfume River visiting Hue’s oldest and most revered site, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. Afternoon take the flight to Hanoi. On arrival in Hanoi, take one hour cyclo ride through the bustling old quarter streets of Hanoi. In the evening, enjoy a fantastic traditional Water Puppet show (unique to Vietnam). Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi City Tour (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Today we enjoy a full day city tour of this charming capital city including the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh (close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the impressive Ethnologic Museum, the beautiful West Lake, the Tran Vu Pagoda, the peaceful lake of the Restored Sword.
Late afternoon we take a cyclo tour for a short excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. In the evening, we enjoy a fantastic traditional water puppet show.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay on Cruise (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Pick up by our driver and transfer to Ha Long. Arrive at Bai Chay (Halong pier). Transfer by tender to the Indochina Sails boat – enjoy Welcome Drink. Receive cruise briefing and check in to cabins and begin cruise.
Lunch - deluxe Vietnamese and International Set Menu. Massage service is available beginning after lunch and throughout the cruise.
Arrive at Titop Island. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and climbing the steps to the top of the mountain on the island for fantastic views and photo opportunities. Water and towels supplied. We will spend about 45 minutes on the island.
Transfer back to the boat and sail for approximately 45 minutes to our second destination - the Bat Cave area. Arrive at the Bat Cave area. There are two programs to choose from at this time:
Option 1: is a 40 minute kayaking program to the nearby Bat Cave and lagoon and surrounding waters.
Option 2: is to visit the largest floating fishing village in Halong Bay. We will travel to the village on the tender and tour the village for approximately 20 minutes.
Arrive at Luon Bo area - anchor for overnight. Dinner - deluxe Vietnamese & Western Buffet or Set Menu Dinner.
Evening activities include: film entertainment in the dining room, board games and playing cards are available, join squid fishing from the boat with our crew, massage services are available. Also at this time we offer, when possible - depending on weather conditions, an excursion to a nearby squid fishing boat. We travel by tender and you will be able to board the squid boat and see how the local fishermen catch squid and other fish, the excursion lasts about 45 minutes. Overnight on board.
Day 11: Ha Long Bay Cruise – Hanoi (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room. Arrive at the Surprise Cave area, there is a small fishing village here. Relax onboard. You may join Tai Chi instruction on the sundeck at 07:00, duraion about 30 minutes.
Transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave. Walk up the 100 steps to the entrance of the cave and tour on foot for approximately 45 minutes. Upon return to the boat take time to freshen up and please check-out of cabins. Depart for Bai Chay/Halong pier.
Enjoy Breakfast Set Menu or Buffet served in the dining room. Settle bills in the dining room after breakfast.
Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room and enjoy the bay scenery as we approach the pier. Transfer by tender to the pier. Pick up by our driver and transfer to Hanoi.
Day 12: Hanoi Departure (Breakfast included)
Free until we transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
