Itinerary in Detail
Day 1: Arrival in Ha Noi (Dinner included)
Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. Meeting with guide and transfer to the hotel. Welcome dinner featured with Vietnamese specialty at local restaurant. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Hanoi city tour (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Breakfast at hotel, then visit Ngoc Son temple, coach trip along the Hanoi Old Quarters, pass by Dong Xuan market then continue to the Old Citadel. Stop for visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to visit the Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda.
Lunch at nice restaurant. After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum, continue to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam.
Evening is reserved for Water Puppet Show. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Breakfast at the hotel, then we driver to Ha Long Bay, 180km to the North-East of Hanoi, one of the World's Natural Heritage. It takes you 3,5 hours for driving. Boat trip on the bay (5 hours) to visit typical islands and caves. Lunch on boat. Enjoy the landscape of the immense bay with 5,000 islets. If we have time then we bathing at a beach at The Titop Islet. Back to Hanoi in evening. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi - Mai Chau (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Breakfast at hotel, we check-out and spend four-hour drive to Mai Chau. After lunch at local we go to the H'mong village of Sa Linh 01 hour away. From here we will start our trek to the village of Hang Kia, a 2,5 hour walk. Our hosts for this evening will be the Hmong minority people. Dinner and overnight at the village in Maichau.
Day 5: Mai Chau - Ninh Binh (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Following breakfast we trek for around two hours to the village of Khoe where we are met by our vehicle that will take us south along highway 15 to Ba Thuoc and then east along country lanes to the town of Ninh Binh. Lunch at local. Arriving in Ninh Binh late in the afternoon we will check into our hotel. Overnight at hotel in Ninh Binh.
Day 6: Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Hue (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Breakfast at hotel, we visit Hoa Lu Citadel, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the Dinh and Le dynasties.
Lunch at local restaurant in the afternoon, then we have 3 hours boat trip to explore Tam Coc (Three Grotoes).
Late this afternoon we catch the train to the old imperial city of Hue. Overnight on train - soft sleeper first class.
Day 7: Visit Hue (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Arriving in Hue at around 7:30 a.m. Following breakfast, we board bicycles for a tour of Hue and the surrounding area to visit to the old Imperial Citadel, the Imperial Museum, Tu Duc Tomb. Lunch at local restaurant. And countinue visit the Dong Ba market. Dinner will be served with traditional folk song. Overnight at hotel in Hue.
Day 8: Hue - Bach Ma National Park (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
We will depart Hue at 8.00 and drive the 55km to Bach Ma National Park. Our stay in this forgotten paradise will include a trek to Hai Vuong Dai. We will also walk to the 300m Do Quyen waterfall. This evening we will stay in the guesthouse located in the national park. Meals on route at local restaurant.
Day 9: Bach Ma National Park - Da Nang - Hoi An (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Before departing Bach Ma we will trek to the Tri Sao waterfall. From here we will head south to Lang Co Beach and then over the Hai Van Pass, stopping at the top to admire the views. Once into Danang we will check into our hotel before heading out to visit the Cham Museum. Continue to Hoian, Overnight in Hoian Old Town. Meals on trip at hotel and local.
Day 10: Hoi An - Da Nang - Nha Trang (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Being transfered to the airport for the flight to the Beach City of Nha Trang. Pick up and transfer to hotel in Nhatrang. Short visit to the Ponagar cham Tower, LongSon pagoda. Relax and free time at the beach. Overnight at hotel. Meals on trip at hotel and local.
Day 11: Nha Trang (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Early breakfast at hotel then take a boat trip to Nha Trang Sea. Visit Oceanographic Institute. Stop at the Tri Nguyen Aquarium, then enjoy special lunch on board. Sunbath and swim at Hon Tam island. Return and overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Nha Trang - Da Lat (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Departing Nha Trang we head south past the famous Cam Ranh Bay for a visit to the PoKlong Gia Rai Cham Towers. Lunch at local. Arriving Dalat "City of Eternal Spring" late in the afternoon, there will time to stretch the legs with a walk around the township. Dinner at local. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Da Lat (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Depart to visit Dalat and the surrounding areas include the Lam Ty Ni pagoda, the summer palace of Bao Dai King; the indescribable crazy house and a Lat minority peoples village. Shopping at HoaBinh Market. Overnight at hotel. Meals on trip at hotel and local.
Day 14: Da Lat - Ho Chi Minh (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Breakfast at hotel, then we back down to sea level and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). It is around an 8-hour drive but it will be broken up with stops at some of the tea and coffee plantations and lunch at Dambri Falls. Arrival in Saigon will be late afternoon. Transfer and overnight at hotel. Dinner at local restaurant.
Day 15: Ho Chi Minh - half day city tour (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)
Breakfast at hotel, then we take half day city tour to visit Reunification Palace, the Jade Emperor Pagoda, and the Ben Thanh markets. Free time for shopping and relaxing in the afternoon with nice lunch. Tonight we will enjoy a dinner cruise on the Saigon River for your farewell dinner.
Day 16: Ho Chi Minh - Departure (Breakfast included)
Check-out and leisure time until transfer you to the airport for your flight. End of trip.
